SSDP
Configuration > Network > SSDP

Make settings for Simple Service Discovery Protocol (SSDP).
SSDP enables the device to inform users of its functions and searches for other devices on a UPnP network and others.

Note

SSDP

Select whether SSDP is active or inactive. The default is [Active].

UUID

Displays a UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) for the SSDP. This value is automatically set and cannot be changed. UUID is a universally unique identifier used to identify a device.

Note

Profile Expires

Enter a profile expiration time in seconds. This specifies the interval at which profile information detected by SSDP is updated. Enter from 1801 to 86400. The default is 10800. The profile includes information such as device location and functions, which is required when searching for devices using SSDP.

TTL

Enter the number of routers a packet can pass through to transfer SSDP service status. Enter from 1 to 255. The default is 4. TTL (Time To Live) is the life span of a packet on the network. Every time a packet passes through a router, the value entered here decreases. When the value reaches 0, the data transfer is canceled.
