Site Certificate
Displays a list of site certificates that have been imported into the device.
Use this page to change the status of a site certificate, or delete or import a site certificate.
Note
- Settings on this page can be made only when you are logged on as Administrator.
- This function requires storage media to save the site certificate.
Use an SD card or install the optional HDD if your model has no storage media. For details about these options, see the operating instructions that came with the machine.
Site Certificate Check
Select [Active] to use the validate function to verify the site certificate is trusted.
Note
- A trusted site certificate is a certificate issued by a trusted third party CA.
Imported Site Certificate
Displays a list of site certificates that have been imported into the device, and buttons you can use to delete or change the status of a certificate.
[Delete]
Click to delete a selected site certificate.
[Update to Trustworthy Certificate]
Click to change the status of a selected site certificate from "Untrustworthy" to "Trustworthy".
Note
- This button is not displayed if the status of all site certificates in the list is "Trustworthy".
List of display items
Click the option button to the left of the certificate information to select a certificate.
To delete or change the status of a certificate, select the certificate, and then click the button in the upper left of the page.
The following items are displayed:
Issued to
Displays the owner of the certificate.
Issuer
Displays the issuer of the certificate.
Term of Validity
Displays the expiration date of the certificate in Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) format.
Status
Displays the status of the certificate: [Trustworthy] or [Untrustworthy].
Click [Update to Trustworthy Certificate] to change the status.
Note
- The "Untrustworthy" status indicates the site certificate has been tampered with after being imported into the device or it has already been imported into another device.
The status of expired or lapsed site certificates is "Trustworthy".
Import Site Certificate
Site Certificate to Import
Specify the certificate file you want to import.
Enter the full pathname of the file you want to import, or click [Browse] to select the file.
Note
- Files larger than 16 KB cannot be imported.
- The following type of certificate can be imported:
- Base 64 Encoded X.509
[Import]
Click to import the selected site certificate.
Note
- After clicking the [Import] button, subsequent procedures differ from browser to browser.
- Import cannot be canceled even if you click the [Cancel] button. To delete the imported site certificate, select the certificate in the list, and then click [Delete].
Buttons
[Refresh]
Click to update the currently displayed information.
Note
- Before making the settings, click [Refresh] to obtain the machine's current status.
[OK]
Click to apply the settings.
[Cancel]
Click to cancel the settings.
