Change WEP Key

Wireless LAN Settings > Change WEP Key
Set or change the WEP encryption key for wireless LAN communication.
New WEP Key
Enter the WEP key you want to set or change.
64 bit Key
Enter a WEP key consisting of a 10-digit hexadecimal value or 5 digits. Enter the WEP key value without the prefix "0x". The value entered will appear as "*".
128 bit Key
Enter a WEP key consisting of a 26-digit hexadecimal value or 13 digits. Using the 128 bit Key provides better security than 64 bit Key. Enter the WEP key value without the prefix "0x". The value entered will appear as "*".
Confirm WEP Key
Enter the same WEP key again in the confirmation box.
The WEP key entered here must be the same as that entered earlier in the [New WEP Key] box, otherwise it cannot be set.
Buttons
[OK]
Click to save the settings and return to the [Wireless LAN Settings] page. The settings are applied when you click [OK] on the [Wireless LAN Settings] page.
[Cancel]
Click to cancel the settings.
