Download Logs

Logs stored on the machine can be downloaded.

Note

• This page is available only when you are logged on as Administrator.

Download

Click to obtain the logs stored on the machine as a CSV file.
When you click this button, a dialog box prompting you to download the file appears.

Note

• Downloaded logs contain data recorded up till the time you click the [Download] button. Logs can take several minutes to half an hour or longer to fully download. Log data recorded after the [Download] button is clicked will not be downloaded.
• Logs are downloaded as UTF-8 format files. If the application you use to open a log file does not support UTF-8, the file's text might appear garbled.
• The following operations are not permitted while logs are downloading:
  • Downloading the log from another Web browser.
  • Displaying and editing the [Job History] page (from [Job List] in [Job]).
  An error will occur if you attempt these operations.
