PDF Group Password

The PDF printing password can be sent to the device in a secure manner, using an additional password to encrypt it. On this page, enter the password used to encrypt the PDF printing password.

Note

• The PDF Group Password can be set by the following Administrators and Users:
  • Machine Administrator
  • Logged-on Users
    User authentication is enabled on the device and Users are permitted to make changes to Administrator's setting items.
• The network administrator must give users the group password for PDF files that is already registered here. The users can then register it in DeskTopBinder on their computers.

New PDF Group Password

Enter the password used to encrypt the PDF printing password, using up to 32 characters.

Confirm PDF Group Password

Re-enter the new password to confirm.
The password entered here must be the same as the one entered earlier in the [New PDF Group Password] box, otherwise it cannot be set.
