General Settings
Make basic settings for the scanner function.
Note
- Settings on this page can be changed by the following Administrators and Users:
- Machine Administrator
- Users logged on to a device that is set to perform user authentication
Users must have normal scanner operation rights and permission to change settings that usually only administrators can change.
Switch Title
Select the title to be displayed on the destination list.
The title you select appears on the e-mail or file transfer destination list, and can be used to search for an address.
You can select from [Title 1] (10 categories), [Title 2] (10 categories), and [Title 3] (5 categories).
Search Destination
Select a destination list to be used in "Search Destination" between the machine's address book and the registered LDAP server.
Note
- This item does not appear if [LDAP Search] is set to "Off" on the [Configuration] - [Device Settings] - [LDAP Server] page, or if no LDAP server is registered.
TWAIN Standby Time
If the machine receives a TWAIN scanning request while it is sending e-mail or files, or while it is functioning as a Document Server or network delivery scanner, it will switch automatically to the network TWAIN scanner function. This setting determines the time the machine waits until it switches to the network TWAIN scanner function.
Set Time
Enter a delay time of 3 to 30 seconds. The machine switches to the network TWAIN scanner function when the number of seconds specified here elapses following the last key operation.
Immediate
The machine will switch to the network TWAIN scanner function as soon as a scanning request is received.
Destination List Display Priority 1
Select the destination list displayed when the machine is switched on. You can select either [E-mail/Folder], [Delivery Server], or [WSD].
Destination List Display Priority 2
In the machine's address book, select the address book that you want displayed by default.
Print & Delete Scanner Journal
Up to 100 transmission/delivery results can be checked on this machine.
Specify how the machine responds when the number of stored transmission/delivery results reaches 100.
Depending on your security settings, the journal might not be printable.
Print and Delete All
The transmission/delivery journal is printed automatically. After being printed, the journal is then deleted.
Do not Print: Delete Oldest
Transmission/delivery results are deleted one by one as new results are stored.
Do not Print: Disable Send
Transmission/delivery cannot be performed when the journal is full.

Click to update the currently displayed information.
Note
- Before making the settings, click [Refresh] to obtain the machine's current status.
[OK]
Click to apply the settings.
[Cancel]
Click to cancel the settings.
