Add Virtual Printer
Configuration > Printer > Add Virtual Printer

Use this page to add a new virtual printer.

Note

• Settings on this page can be changed by the following Administrator and Users:
  • Machine Administrator
  • Logged-on Users
    User authentication is enabled on the device and Users are permitted to make changes to Administrator's setting items.

General Settings

Specify the virtual printer's name and protocol.

Virtual Printer Name

Enter a name for the virtual printer being added, using up to 47 characters.

Note

• This option is available only if [Protocol] is set to [TCP/IP (Unspecified, Normal)], [TCP/IP (Unspecified, Priority)], or [TCP/IP (RHPP)].

Protocol

Select the protocol used by the virtual printer.

Buttons

[Refresh]

Click to update the currently displayed information.

Note

• Before making the settings, click [Refresh] to obtain the machine's current status.

[OK]

Click to apply the settings.

[Cancel]

Click to cancel the settings.
