Change IP-Fax Gateway Settings
Configuration > Fax > IP-Fax Gateway Settings > Change IP-Fax Gateway Settings

Register and update the VoIP gateway to use the IP-Fax function. You can register up to 50 VoIP gateways.

Note

• Settings on this page can be changed by the following Administrators and Users:
  • Network Administrator
  • Users logged on to a device that is set to perform user authentication
    Users must have normal fax operation rights and permission to change settings that usually only administrators can change.

Prefix

Enter the VoIP gateway's phone number. You can enter up to 12 characters consisting of digits and symbols (# * -).

Protocol

Select a protocol for IP-Fax transmission or newly registered additions to the Address Book.
Select either [H.323] or [SIP].

Gateway Address

Enter the VoIP gateway's IP address or host name. Up to 128 alphanumeric characters can be entered. A port number can also be specified after a colon ":".

  ; ? : & = + $ , - _ . ! ~ * # �f ( ) % / @ [ ]

Click to update the currently displayed information.

Note

• Before making the settings, click [Refresh] to obtain the machine's current status.

[OK]

Click to apply the settings.

[Cancel]

Click to cancel the settings.
