LDAP Authentication

Select the LDAP server used for User Authentication.

Login Name Attribute

Enter the login name attribute (user name attribute), using up to 32 alphanumeric characters. A typical attribute may be "cn" or "uid".
When the data of the LDAP-authenticated user is automatically registered to the Address Book on the device, information is searched for the user's e-mail address and other data for the Address Book. The search filter for finding the data is created using the login name (user name) used for authenticating the user. The login name attribute specified here is used as data for creating this search filter.

Unique Attribute

Enter the attribute for uniquely identifying the user, using up to 32 alphanumeric characters.
When the data of the LDAP-authenticated user is automatically registered to the Address Book, this attribute information can also be registered. This unique attribute is used for identifying the user at the subsequent authentication.
