User Authentication Management (User Code)

Select whether to enable user code management (limit functions or count total pages by user code) for each function available on the device.
Note
- To enable user code management, a user code must be registered to the Address Book. Click [Address Book] in the menu area to display the Address Book.
User Code Authentication Settings
Available Functions
Select the function(s) for which you want to enable user code management.
Note
- If [Printer: PC Control] is selected, user code management by printer color mode (Color and Black & White) is disabled.
Copier: Black & White
Enable or disable user code management for black and white copying.
Copier: Single Color
Enable or disable user code management for single color copying.
Copier: Two-color
Enable or disable user code management for two-color copying.
Copier: Full Color
Enable or disable user code management for full color copying.
Printer: Black & White
Enable or disable user code management for black and white printing.
Printer: Color
Enable or disable user code management for color printing.
Printer: PC Control
Enable or disable automatically registering user codes to the Address Book.
If the check box is selected, the user code assigned in the printer driver is automatically registered to the Address Book on the device when a job is sent by the driver.
Other Function(s): Document Server
Enable or disable user code management for operations of the Document Server.
Other Function(s): Scanner
Enable or disable user code management for scanner functions.

Click to update the currently displayed information.
Note
- Before making the settings, click [Refresh] to obtain the machine's current status.
[OK]
Click to apply the settings.
[Cancel]
Click to cancel the settings.
