PDF Temporary Password

Use this page to set a password for secure PDF printing every time you print a PDF. Users can set a PDF Temporary Password if necessary.

Note

The PDF Temporary Password cannot be set if a PDF Fixed Password is already set.
When you are logged on as Administrator, you can set a PDF Fixed Password, but not a PDF Temporary Password.
The PDF Fixed Password set from the Web browser is the same as the PDF password set on the printer control panel.

PDF Temporary Password

Enter a temporary password for PDF printing, using up to 32 alphanumeric characters.

Confirm Password

Enter the same password again in the confirmation box.
The password entered here must be the same as the one entered earlier in the [PDF Temporary Password] box, otherwise it cannot be set.
