Use this page to enter administrative information related to the machine's interfaces.
Some items are for reference only and cannot be changed.
To make settings for the wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11b) board, use the [Wireless LAN Settings] page.

Change Interface

Switch the interface between Ethernet and wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11b). This is available only if the device supports both interfaces.

Ethernet

Displays network interface board information. This information appears when a network interface board is installed.

Network

Displays Ethernet operation status.

MAC Address

Displays the MAC address (Media Access Control Address) of the network interface board.

IEEE 1394

Configure settings related to SCSI print (SBP-2) and IPv4 over 1394 of the IEEE 1394 board. This information appears when an IEEE 1394 board is installed.

IEEE 1394 EUI-64

Displays the EUI-64 (Extended Unique Identifier, 64-bit) of the IEEE 1394 board.

IPv4 over 1394

Select whether to enable or disable IPv4 over 1394.

SCSI print (SBP-2)

Select whether to enable or disable SCSI print (SBP-2).

Bidirectional SCSI print

Select whether to enable or disable bidirectional communication when using SCSI print.

Bluetooth

Configure settings related to the Bluetooth board. This information appears when a Bluetooth board is installed.

Bluetooth

Select to enable or disable communication using Bluetooth.

Operation Mode

Select the Bluetooth operation mode.

Public

Printers detected by the Bluetooth software are displayed on the host computer. The printers are identified with the model name plus Bluetooth address.

Private

Even if a printer is detected, it does not appear on the host computer. However, normal printing is enabled from the host computer with which a Bluetooth connection has been previously established.

USB

Configure USB settings.

USB

Select to enable or disable data transfer via USB.

USB Host

This appears when data transfer via USB is enabled and the device supports PictBridge.

USB Host

When the digital camera connected to the device's USB port is ready for data transfer, [Enable] is displayed.

PictBridge

Configure PictBridge settings. PictBridge is the standard that enables images to be printed by connecting a device directly to a digital camera via USB cable.
The following item appears when the device supports PictBridge:

PictBridge

Select to enable or disable communication using PictBridge.
