Select whether SNMP is enabled or disabled for the interface board(s).

Select whether to enable or disable IPX.

SNMPv3 Function

Select whether to enable or disable SNMPv3.

SNMPv3 Trap Communication

Select whether to send SNMPv3 trap.

Context Name

Displays the context name of the device.
The context name is fixed to "GWNCS".

Authentication Algorithm

Select an authentication algorithm for SNMPv3.

Permit SNMPv3 Communication

Select an encryption mode for SNMPv3 communications.

Note

Encryption Only

Permits encrypted communications only.
If encryption is unavailable, prohibits SNMPv3 communication.

Encryption/Clear Text

Encrypts and transmits data when encryption is available.
If encryption is unavailable, permits transmission of unencrypted data.

SNMPv3 Trap Communication Setting

Specify the IP address of the destination host to which SNMPv3 trap is sent, and specify the account of the sender. Up to five addresses can be set.

Account

Enter the user name of Machine Administrator, Network Administrator, or User account to use as the sender, using up to 32 characters.

Protocol Type, Enable/Disable

Make settings for the transport protocol sending SNMP v3 trap.

IPv4

Select whether to enable or disable IPv4.

IPv6

Select whether to enable or disable IPv6.

IPX

Select whether to enable or disable IPX.

Manager Address

Enter the host computer's address according to the protocol used.

When using IPv4

Enter the IPv4 address of the destination host.

When using IPv6

Enter the IPv6 address of the destination host.

When using IPX

Enter the IPX address of the destination host. The IPX address consists of the network number and the physical address. Enter the network number to which the host is connected and the MAC address of the network interface board that is attached to the host, separated by a colon ":".

Account (User)

Configure a User account for accessing the device via SNMPv3:

Account Name

Enter a user name for the User account, using up to 32 alphanumeric characters. The default User account name is "initial".

Authentication Password

Enter a password for the User account, using up to 32 alphanumeric characters. The password is case sensitive. Minimum character limits vary depending on the machine's password policy settings.

Encryption Password

Enter a password for encrypting the User account password, using up to 32 alphanumeric characters. The encryption password is case sensitive.

Note

Access Type

In the list, select an access type for the User account to access the device.

Not Accessible

No access permitted.

read-only

You can read the information, but not edit it.

Account (Network Administrator)

In the list, select an access type for the Network Administrator account to access the device.

No access permitted.

read-only

You can read the information, but not edit it.

read-write

You can read and edit the information.

write-only

You can only write information.

Account (Machine Administrator)
