Locked Print

You can set a password to an original to prevent unauthorized printing of it.

1Select the original you want to print.

2Select [Print...] on the [File] menu.

3Click [Job Log] in the pop-up menu.

4Click [Locked Print] in the [Job Type:] pop-up menu.

5Enter user ID in the [User ID:] box using up to 8 alphanumeric characters.

6Enter the password in the [Password:] box.

You can use 4 to 8 digits for the password.

7Print the document using the print function in the default application of the original.

The original is not printed at this time. It is stored in the printer.

8Enter the password using the printer's control panel, and print the original.
